15 Best Boutique Hotels in Paris (2024)
1500.
According to ParisDiscoverGuide.com, that’s the officially recognized number of hotels in Paris, a number that doesn’t even include those labeled as “aparthotels” nor Airbnb listings.
If that number doesn’t shock you, here’s some context: in comparison, New York City has around 258 officially recognized hotels and London comes in at 700+.
More than double the number of hotels in London and you’ll hit the one thousand, five hundred hotels that Paris has to offer.
If you’re planning a trip to Paris, there are an overwhelming number of Parisian hotels for you to choose from. Not only does this high number of hotels mean more for you to search through, but it also means there are substantially more mediocre hotels you could unfortunately end up booking for your dream trip to Paris.
The good news for you is that while living in Paris, I bookmark all of the stylish and highly rated Parisian hotels I came across, bringing you the round up you’ll discover below.
This is by no means a robust list of all the best hotels in Paris (you can find our entire list of favorites here), but rather a list of boutique hotels in Paris that have been intentionally designed and updated to be as stylish as the French themselves. My hope is that by the end of this post, your Paris planning has become a little bit easier and that one of these stylish Parisian hotels is the perfect match for your travels to Paris.
P.S. - If an Eiffel Tower view is top priority, be sure to check out #9 on the list.
All photos in the post are from the hotel websites or booking.com listings and are not my own.

Breakfast was perfect, help yourself, lots of choice, quality products and a delightful breakfast room looking out onto a quaint courtyard. Wonderful old French building with modern, tasteful, designery decor, cosy, friendly atmosphere, thoughtful attention to detail and attentive but not intrusive staff. The gallery photos don't show it but there is a discreet wardrobe in the room. The room had everything we needed and was gloriously quiet considering we were in the centre of the latin quarter. It's a great neighborhood too with a one minute walk to the metro and a lovely 20 minute stroll to the river. Highly recommended.

Fabulous boutique hotel, located in the very centre of Paris. The hotel is very charming, designed in a mix of modern and chic styles. It is just right next to the Louvre, the Jardin des Tuileries and close to Rue Cambon. The Place Vendome and Hôtel Costes is also just round the corner. The hotel staff is very nice and always helpful. Tasty and rich breakfast you can enjoy in the hotel restaurant. Simply delicious. I very much liked interior design in the hotel and the colours chosen for the rooms’ decorations which were to remind the colours of Paris’ sky. 8) Hotel Rochechouart - (9th Arrondissement) ✤
We picked this for the location in Montmarte and also bc it has a rooftop bar. On arrival the receptionist welcomed us and assigned us our room, walked us to the elevator and wished us a good evening. The deluxe twin room was impeccable, and it had a sweet little balcony with views of the Sacre Couer on the skyline simply wonderful day and night. The windows were double glazed and you could barely hear a peep from the busy roads below. The shower was spacious and water temperature and pressure perfect and there was also a rainfall shower head option. The amenities were a great addition, ear plugs, nespresso machine, tea/kettle, the hand wash, shampoo and body wash all smell stunning! Like high end designer skincare (and you can buy it) We stayed for 2 nights and our beds were made up and amenities refreshed. The rooftop bar has incredible 360 views of Paris which was a really wonderful experience and we were lucky enough for the sun to come out on a rainy day so we could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Very very highly recommend this hotel, pay the little extra for a deluxe room and definitely head up to the rooftop for a glass of champagne!! We didn't visit the restaurant but it was busy both night we stayed and smelled wonderful.
